The Scissortail Rasbora
The Scissortail Rasbora has a beautiful silver iridescence that sparkles as light reflects on the fish’s body. They are extremely adaptable to many water conditions which can be a perfect addition to any well-established community aquarium. They are gregarious species, best in a small group of 6 or more individuals.
In their native environment, Scissortail Rasbora mainly feeds on insects, in captivity, you can feed them with dried foods, or any ready-made fish food but should not be fed like this exclusively, it’s best to also feed them with small live and frozen fare such as Daphnia, Artemia which can encourage the fish to breed and show their best colors.
